What is Insight Seminars?

Insight Seminars are all about learning practical ways to live from your heart—the center of your authentic self. Our Seminars will support you in looking at what’s working and not working in your life and how you can make changes that will support you in creating and living a life you love.

Our History

John-Roger and Russell Bishop created Insight Seminars in 1978 to give people accessible tools for living a successful life. Over the past 45 years, Insight has reached into 46 countries and touched the lives of more than a million people around the world. In New Zealand, we are proud to carry this legacy forward, offering the first seminar in 2025.

What We Offer

Our seminars are designed to help participants uncover their inner potential and develop practical skills to navigate life’s challenges. From understanding emotions to enhancing communication and building fulfilling relationships, Insight Seminars provide tools and experiences that create lasting positive change.

Insight isn’t interested in changing you. We’re interested in you discovering – perhaps for the first time – that you are perfect just the way you are. Insight Seminars create the space for you to peel back the layers of beliefs, rules, illusions, judgments, and other limitations you may have allowed to block you from seeing how amazing you are and how great your life can be.

The Seminars are highly interactive and experiential for each and every participant, through a series of short presentations, one-to-one exercises, and lively group discussions.

A Journey of Transformation

The Insight journey begins with our flagship seminar, Insight I, which introduces foundational principles of self-awareness and emotional intelligence. As participants may want to progress to Insight II and Insight III, they embark on a deeper exploration of their personal beliefs, values, and aspirations. Each seminar builds on the previous one and are whole and complete, offering new insights and practical tools to achieve a more fulfilling life.

Who Attends Insight Seminars?

The Insight Seminar series is offered for children, teens, and adults and are based in universal truths of loving, acceptance, and personal responsibility as dynamic and practical guides to living life. Insight does not teach any religious doctrine of any kind. People from all walks of life attend Insight Seminars—students, professionals, parents, retirees, entrepreneurs, and more. Whether you’re seeking to overcome personal challenges, strengthen your relationships, or rediscover your passion for life, Insight Seminars provides a supportive environment to grow and thrive.
